Kyra joined The Menges Group in January 2021 after completing a master’s degree in Applied Economics from the George Washington University. Kyra works primarily in the company’s Medicaid procurement practice. She brings her writing and analytical skillset and her passion for improving the U.S. healthcare delivery system to her work, providing strategic RFP support to health plan bids on large state Medicaid contracts. Prior to joining The Menges Group, Kyra conducted research on several health policy topics, including analyses of the various impacts of the ACA and the COVID-19 pandemic on access to healthcare in America. She has previous experience working with private, public, and non-profit organizations, including the completion of an internship with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Kyra received her B.A. in Economics from San Diego State University in 2018 with an Honors Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. When she is not working, Kyra enjoys going to the gym, surfing, and cooking for her friends and family.
